The entry-level RDNA 3 GPU wasn’t officially released but supposedly exists, as can be seen from the leaked pictures.<\/p>\n

Radeon RX “7500” Spotted with NAVI 33 GPU Die and 1536 Stream Processors<\/h2>\n

AMD’s X500 and X400 series GPUs, such as the RX 6400 and RX 6500 XT, didn’t have much appeal, which was due to the low VRAM capacity and certain limitations that made them somewhat lackluster at gaming. AMD was supposedly repeating history by launching such entry-level GPUs in the RX 7000 lineup as well, but later didn’t.<\/p>\n

Some of the rumored entry-level RX 7000 GPUs that were initially planned for launch were the RX 7300 and RX 7400<\/a>, but we didn’t hear about the RX “7500” much. Surprisingly, not only are we now getting a sneak peek into its specifications, but we have also received an image that shows the card’s design.<\/p>\n

User @GOKForFree<\/a> posted a pic of the Radeon RX 7500 but blurred out some components. According to the leaker, the GPU supposedly features a NAVI 33 XE die and boasts 1536 Stream Processors. This is apparently a cut-down NAVI 33 die, which is used in the RX 7600 series GPUs and supports a memory bus interface of only 96-bit. This gives rise to 6 GB GDDR6 VRAM capacity, making it much inferior to the RX 7600 GPU.<\/p>\n

GPU-Z confirms the card’s specifications, but since it wasn’t released officially, the software doesn’t recognize it fully. This is why you won’t see clock speeds in GPU-Z, but the user did confirm that the GPU works, but at an incredibly low frequency of just 300 MHz. The exact reason for AMD’s cancellation of the GPU isn’t known yet, and it’s unlikely that we will see the card on the market.<\/p>\n

Even though 8 GB cards are starting to become obsolete in the market, a sub-$200 GPU like the RX 7500 with 6 GB of memory could be used for entry-level gaming purposes. Unfortunately, it feels as if AMD isn’t interested in making 6 GB or 4 GB cards with a $100-$200 price point, and considering it is still sticking to $300 8 GB cards just like NVIDIA, the entry-level price segment seems to be completely abandoned by the GPU manufacturers.<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, there is a very small chance that AMD’s RX 7300 and RX 7400 may get released, as recently AIDA64 added the RX 7300 to its support list<\/a>. Still, this seems pretty unlikely at this point, as it’s already too late, and we might see an RX 9050 instead.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
