ASUS displayed two brand-new custom RTX 50 GPUs, the RTX 5080 Noctua Edition & the ROG Astral RTX 5080 DOOM Edition graphics card.<\/p>\n

ASUS Outs A Brand New Noctua Edition Graphics Card, The RTX 5080 Noctua Edition, With Triple-Fan Cooler & Quad-Slot Design<\/h2>\n

ASUS is known for partnering with Noctua in releasing custom-cooled graphics cards. The company has been offering these cards for the last few generations, but the previous designs were mostly limited to dual-fan designs, but with the RTX 50 series, it looks like we are finally getting triple-fan action.<\/p>\n

The ASUS GeForce RTX 5080 Noctua Edition graphics card adopts three Noctua NF-A12x25 G2 120mm fans, which run quietly and offer great cooling capabilities. The card also comes with an optimized vapor chamber that is attached to a large aluminum fin array. It also uses Phase-change GPU thermal pads to ensure a greater level of heat dissipation from the GPU. The card is also really massive, and to reduce the risk of cracks and ensure stable mounting, the card is equipped with a GPU Guard and bracket.<\/p>\n

ASUS has themed the GeForce RTX 5080 Noctua Edition card in gray and brown colors, which match the Noctua theme. The back features a full-length backplate and there’s a cut-out for the third fan that is used to vent air.<\/p>\n

The Noctua fans themselves take up at least 2-slots’ worth of space, which is the reason why this card is measured at a hefty 4-slot height.<\/p>\n

Straight Outta The Dark Ages: Meet The ROG Astral RTX 5080 DOOM Edition<\/h4>\n

The second variant that ASUS is introducing is the ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 DOOM Edition. This variant is themed after the recently released DOOM: The Dark Ages and it’s based on the slayer with the front and rear fans matching the shield saw, one of the defensive weapons in the game.<\/p>\n

The RTX 5080 DOOM Edition will retain the same specs as the standard RTX 5080 ROG Astral OC, with a peak clock of 2790 MHz, but it’s the copper-coated heatsink within the shroud that looks great. The card will only be available in limited quantities, with 666 units planned.<\/p>\n

There’s no word on the pricing of either graphics card, but considering the limited nature of them, we can expect them to be priced at a really high premium versus the MSRP which is $999 US for the RTX 5080. For the RTX 5080 DOOM Edition, the card will be available for pre-orders today and ships in July.
