Researchers from TSMC will also have access to the supercomputer, while Foxconn will use it to \u201caccelerate automation and efficiency across its three core pillars \u2014 smart cities, electric vehicles, and manufacturing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"8fhcj\">No details about when the supercomputer is expected to come online have been shared.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"ee1na\">\u201cAI has ignited a new industrial revolution \u2014 science and industry will be transformed,\u201d said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of Nvidia. \u201cWe are delighted to partner with Foxconn and Taiwan to help build Taiwan&#8217;s AI infrastructure, and to support TSMC and other leading companies to advance innovation in the age of AI and robotics.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"eii3t\">Young Liu, chairman and CEO of Foxconn, added: \u201cFoxconn builds technology that underpins modern life, and now, we\u2019re building computing infrastructure to scale the next generation of breakthroughs across Taiwan.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"2h94n\">&#8220;By building this AI factory with Nvidia and TSMC, we are laying the groundwork to connect people in Taiwan as well as government organizations and enterprises such as TSMC to accelerate innovation and empower industries.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nvidia and Foxconn are working with the Taiwanese government to build an AI supercomputer.
