Gigabyte has showcased several gaming monitors at the Computex event, unveiling its cutting-edge displays for enthusiasts.
Gigabyte Reveals Dual Mode, QD-OLED, IPS, and Quantum Dot Gaming Monitors, Featuring High Refresh Rates and Quick Response
The popular hardware manufacturer, Gigabyte, has shown us some of its newest innovations at Computex, and in this post, you will see some of its latest offerings in the monitor lineup. These are mostly aimed at gamers and bring various features and specifications to cater to different demands.
Starting with one of its premium models, M27UP, we have a dual-mode configuration for enthusiasts who like to switch between the display modes for different games. The M27UP is a 27-inch monitor that can display up to 4K resolution at 160Hz and FHD resolution at up to 320Hz refresh rates. The monitor is equipped with the latest Adaptive Sync technologies, such as AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatibility, and also offers a wide color gamut (95% DCI-P3) for vibrant images.

The monitor also boasts a built-in KVM switch for controlling multiple devices via the same peripherals and a Tactical Switch 2.0 for adjusting some display properties. Gigabyte is introducing the M27UP in two different themes: Black and White, the latter known as M27UP ICE.
The next high-end offering is the MO27Q2A, which is a 1440p QD-OLED gaming monitor that can go up to 280Hz with a quick response time of just 0.03ms. The monitor is VESA ClearMR 15000 and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified and delivers 99% DCI-P3 color gamut. It’s excellent for those who want deep blacks and accurate color reproduction.
For those who cannot afford this premium QD-OLED monitor, Gigabyte is offering a mid-range alternative called M27Q2, a Quantum Dot QHD gaming monitor that brings a 27-inch display with up to 200Hz refresh rate and 1ms of response time. It’s also excellent with features like AMD FreeSync, 98% DCI-P3 color gamut, and Tactical Switch 2.0, Built-in KVM, and more. While it won’t be as fast as the MO27Q2A, it’s still ready for competitive gaming.
The fourth one is the Gigabyte M27QS, a budget 2K gaming monitor with an IPS panel that can run at up to 180Hz refresh rate. It ships with decent features such as AMD FreeSync and HDR support, and also comes with dual 5W stereo speakers that can come in handy anytime. Plus, there is a LAN port and KVM software for multi-device control.
