ACER Unveils Wide Range of Laptops At Computex 2025

ACER has showcased several of its new laptop offerings at Computex, from high-end gaming laptops under the Predator lineup to professional and power-efficient devices.

ACER’s Latest Range of Laptops Focuses Specifically On AI Through Intel’s Lunar Lake SoCs, Offering Tremendous Performance

Computex 2025 has finally kicked off, and it seems like ACER is one of the first brands to showcase its product offerings to the public. The company’s new laptops are one of the more interesting ones to talk about. Since this time, ACER has launched extensive products under multiple lineups. One of the major improvements with the firm’s newest laptops is the inclusion of Intel’s Lunar Lake platform, along with NVIDIA’s RTX 50 “Blackwell” laptop GPUs, which puts these devices at the top of the performance ladder.

ACER Predator Laptops – High-End Performance & Cooling Features

Starting with a high-end gaming option, ACER has unveiled its Predator Triton 14 AI gaming laptop, which combines high-performance and portability into a single package. The laptop features Intel’s Core Ultra 9 288V and NVIDIA’s RTX 5070 laptop GPU, making it a great option for modern-day gaming. On top of this, the laptop offers an OLED WQXGA+ display, with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and a 120 Hz refresh rate, which certainly isn’t high for top-notch gaming, but certainly gets the job done.

One of this laptop’s more intriguing parts is that the aluminium chassis weighs only 1.6kg, which makes the device great for portability. Moreover, ACER offers graphene thermal interface materials for its cooling mechanism, which brings in optimal heat dissipaton to ensure that the device doesn’t overheat under stress conditions. For a quick rundown, here are the complete specifications:

ACER Swift AI Laptops – Productivity On The Go!

ACER also decided to show its prowess in Microsoft’s “Copilot+” laptop segment through its new and advanced Swift laptops, which are powered by Intel’s Lunar Lake platform. Starting with the top-end model, the Swift Edge 14 AI features Intel’s Core Ultra 9 288V, due to which, they have managed to bring significant NPU performance onboard, up to 40 TOPS. The Swift laptop lineup comes with an exceptional display, and similarly, the Edge 14 AI offers a 14-inch 3K OLED display with VESA DisplayHDR True Black-600 certification, making it an excellent option for productivity.

The laptop is said to yield up to 21 hours of battery life, credited to Intel’s Lunar Lake and its power efficiency figures. ACER positions the Swift Edge 14 AI as a counterpart to Apple’s MacBook offerings and is generally seen as a capable device. However, if you are more into something budget-friendly, the firm also offers the Swift Go 16 AI and Swift Go 14 AI, which feature Intel’s Core Ultra 7 258V, along with OLED display panels and much more.

Both new laptops include OLED displays that showcase visuals in vibrant clarity; the Swift Go 16 AI is available with up to a 16:10 WUXGA+ (2048×1280) 2K OLED 16-inch display, while the Swift Go 14 AI features a 16:10 WUXGA (1920×1200) OLED panel. Their screens are also VESA DisplayHDR™ TrueBlack 500-certified and have Eyesafe 2.0 certification.

Built for versatility and measuring a mere 15.9 mm (0.60 inches) thin, students, families, and hybrid workers can make the most of Swift Go AI laptops’ sleek form factors as they use them at school, home, and work.

The Swift series doesn’t just end here, since ACER has also brought options with dedicated mobile GPUs onboard, that feature NVIDIA’s RTX 50 series. The flagship model in this series, the Swift X 14 AI, is ACER’s only option to feature AMD’s Strix Point Ryzen AI 9 365 APU, which is said to be a performance-oriented SoC integrated with the best of the products. However, the other model in this lineup, the Swift X 14, comes with Intel’s Core Ultra 9 285H processor, and both of these devices offer NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU.

The main thing about Swift X laptops is their elegant displays, which are 14.5-inch 3K OLED displays that are in the right spot for creativity workloads. Along with this, they are equipped with many features such as Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and much more, so they are loaded with everything consumers would likely want. Of course, with the dedicated mobile GPU onboard, you won’t get as good a battery life as the Swift series, but when it comes to laptops, which are best in almost every other, the Swift X might be the way to go.

  • ACER Swift X 14 AI (SFX14-61G) – 1,799 EUR (Starting July)
